South Asian Weddings · Melbourne & Beyond

Be fully present for your Vivaah. We'll handle the rest.

Wedding planning, on-the-day coordination and content creation for South Asian couples, so you and your families can celebrate, not coordinate.

Why The Vivaah House

Planned with intention. Run with calm.

01

We Know the Rituals

Mandap/nikaah styles, pooja requirements, baraat logistics, event run-sheets. We plan every detail with your traditions and your families in mind.

02

Your Family Celebrates

On the day, a coordinator runs every vendor, timing and entrance quietly in the background, so no aunty, cousin or parent is left managing logistics.

03

Captured as It Happens

Behind-the-scenes content filmed candidly across your events and delivered fast. Relive the moments (and post them) while the mehndi is still fresh.

Our Story

It began with our own Vivaah.

Planning our own Vivaah showed us just how much love, emotion and tiny detail goes into a wedding. We felt the joy, but we also saw how easily stress can take over, not just for the couple, but for the families too.

That's why we started The Vivaah House: to help couples enjoy their wedding and events the way they're meant to be, stress-free, supported, and surrounded by joy.

Good to Know

Frequently asked questions.

What areas do you service?

We're based in Melbourne but operate in Melbourne and beyond, including Auckland. We're happy to travel for interstate and destination celebrations, so get in touch with your location and we'll confirm availability.

What's the difference between wedding planning and on-the-day coordination?

Wedding planning is end to end: we work with you from the start on budgets, venues, vendors and run-sheets, right through to running the events themselves. On-the-day coordination is for couples who have planned their own wedding and want someone to take over in the lead-up and run the day, so you and your families can be guests at your own celebration.

Do you offer partial planning?

Yes. If you've already started planning, we can step in wherever you're up to. We'll pick up what's been done so far and continue from there, supporting you the rest of the way through to the day itself.

Which events and traditions do you cover?

All of them. Haldi, mehendi, sangeet, jaggo, baraat, pheras, nikaah, varmala, ceremonies, receptions and everything in between. Every family celebrates differently, so we start by understanding how yours does and plan around it.

Do you only do weddings?

Not at all. Weddings are our specialty, but we also plan, coordinate and capture engagements, proposals, birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations. If it's worth celebrating, we'd love to hear about it.

How far in advance should we book?

For full wedding planning, the earlier the better, ideally 6 to 12 months out. On-the-day coordination and content creation can be booked closer to your date, but popular dates fill quickly, so reach out as soon as you know yours.

Can we book content creation on its own?

Absolutely. Content creation can be booked standalone for a single event or across your whole wedding, or added to any planning or coordination package.

Does content creation replace a photographer or videographer?

No, and it's not meant to. Your photographer captures the formal moments; we capture the candid, in-between ones and turn them into edited reels and stories you can share straight away. The two work beautifully together.

What happens after we enquire?

We'll come back to you within 48 hours to arrange a chat about your celebration. From there you'll receive a tailored quote, and a deposit secures your date.
